rTracer
Racing game turned cloud-streamed platform
rTracer began as a browser racing game and evolved into a platform. I owned architecture and infrastructure through that transition: a physics-first Three.js prototype with F1-style tyre temperature and wear, aerodynamics and AI opponents, and then a UE 5.8 Pixel Streaming platform that boots per-user game instances on GCP GPU VMs behind auth with autoscaling and a session broker.
Still in development.
What I built
- Physics-first web racing prototype: tyre compounds and wear, downforce and drafting, a GP circuit with a dirt shortcut, and a telemetry HUD.
- UE 5.8 Pixel Streaming 2 cloud platform: GPU managed instance groups, a session broker allocating instances per user, latency and FPS benchmarks.
- Onboarded developers and trained designers on AI-assisted frontend workflows during the platform build-out.
